Last spring, my friend Alla asked me to go to the Cowboy Carter tour with her in NYC. She took me to Renaissance the year prior, and we had a lovely time. I couldn't refuse, but I wanted to give something back to her since she had been so generous with these concert tickets, flights, etc. So I decided to make Cowboy Carter outfits for us. She had a particular vision in mind for her outfit, specifically a beaded bolero top that she had been eyeballing for a very long time.

I wasn't able to bead or rhinestone it the the extent I wanted to. By the time we decided on what we'd like to wear for the concert, it was too late to accomplish anything that extravagant, so I improvised, and happily she loved it.
