This video is less about the process I used to make the outfits and more of a compilation of the trip. I got to spend time with Alla's favorite living being, Molly, before she crossed the rainbow bridge. We also cat-sat "Hello", Alla's neighbor's cat. Hello was a menace who needed a LOT of attention. Every time she'd get in trouble Alla would say, "Hello!", in that sarcastic tone we older millenials would say, "duh, hello!" back in the day, and it kinda made me giggle.
Alla was so worried about her dog, Molly, that we almost didn't end up going. I totally understand. My pets are my family, and they take priority over fun things like concerts. Luckily her neighbor offered to watch Molly for a few hours so we could go. I think it was the first time in a week or so that Alla was able to let her head take a break from the worries she had for her sweet girl.
The concert was a ton of fun. People loved both of our costumes. Since it was still May, I was totally dressed inappropriately for night weather. Alla noticed and hugged me during the second half of the show. It was really lovely. I'm really lucky to hae such beautiful girlfriends.
